Advertiser explicitly pays for the opportunity to pitch my agent. I might never see anything. If I buy products/services from these ads my score goes up because I’m proving that I’m a real prospect that spends. It’d be like having frequent flyer points - you’d want to direct your spend in a way that scores points.
Maybe there’s a version of this that improves the whole market:
Agent strips the ads, evaluates the product/service and pitches me personally on some small %age of them that it thinks I might like. That leads to version 2 of this…
@EugenePerel My puzzle grade is high and I like a bit of blindfold chess too so I do better than the typical person of my grade when it’s complex in the middle game.
@Austen Omg wow. I hadn’t thought about how easy it is for governments now to go through old tax returns with a well constructed LLM agent and find suspicious things.
It’s the other side of getting my agent to do my taxes.
I'm one of the people that knows about it but doesn't know all the details. Would I be right in thinking that they created a more powerful model than anything they had before, sandboxed it, prompted it to break out of its sandbox (perhaps only implicitly by asking it to do something that couldn't easily be done from inside the sandbox)?
My guess is that when they trained and prompted it, they (perhaps only implicitly) told it "stop at nothing" and perhaps the scary thing is that last part was never said out loud
Quitting is my superpower.

2. Maybe a bit but I don’t get headaches like I used to - that was my motivation.
3. Big bag of caf. Big bag of decaf with the same grind size. With some scales I moved the ratio a tiny bit each day. Had a 2/10 headache feeling that whole month but now I’m done and…
4. Don’t miss it at all.
yes. Hence, for every 100 times someone uses "tea" in England to describe a thing that can only happen in the afternoon, 99 of those times it relates to an evening meal and the idea it could relate to those pictures would be really funny for those people. But yes - those are two other uses of the same word.
@clairevo@ejc3 Interested to hear more on this. I’m still on openclaw and not really having issues so wondering what you’re attempting that’s not happening. I get fomo when people leave to Hermes or codex. Trying to stay open minded
Yeh I guess to build a dashboard that is not pointless and then stop before turning it into automation - that is indeed really silly but thinking of a great automation is hard. step 1 is think of a great dashboard (and then live with it for just long enough to see what automation it’s pointing at). I love that process
