@BrexitFutureUK @benjaminbutter This fixation on pensions is weird. A pension can only be removed for the most serious of offences, like couzens, and quite rightly in his case. These officers sounded young in service, so no real pension to speak of really, if they even paid into it, and a long way off

@Andy99UK @benjaminbutter Most frontline cops have less than 5 years in policing, thanks to cuts. Most aren’t in the pension scheme either. These cops sounded quite young, so their pension wouldn’t be a lot, that they can’t get till they’re 60, if they even paid into it

@benjaminbutter @Markclaret1 Police are not like the public sector. Resignation is not offered to end a disciplinary. They will continue with the disciplinary regardless, and if found proven the person is put on the barred list so they cannot return to policing in any format.

@Tina22_2 @elonmusk You see, if you were from England, you’d know UK cops don’t wear blue shirts, they wear black (or white if it’s London). The blue shirt is police staff/PCSO, not a cop. So if the picture of the man is wrong, it’s likely the woman is too……..

@britmatters That person is wearing a blue shirt. Police officers wear black (white in the Met Police). That photo is of a PCSO or police staff member, who wear blue.

Why does he need to deny again something that has already been investigated and dealt with, that he clearly denied at the time? He’s not being investigated for anything to deny?

@stuffsabsays Don’t know which book you read, but no ‘childhood trauma’ in it, it reads as a driven individual striving to be the best she can be, hyper focussed with high standards and disciplined. Pretty much the same I would imagine for any elite athlete in any sport that gets to the top
