Sir/Madam, I am trying to book a ticket for my father (62) on Train No. 20490 (MTJ BME SF) from GDO to KMNC for 16th April. It shows WL5 for Kuchaman, while the same train has 121 seats available (AVL 0121) from GDO to BME!

This is pathetic service! My AC (Service IDs: 4919515 & 4991589) has a confirmed gas leak, but your team keeps cancelling requests without fixing it.
Is this your standard of customer care? Fix it in 48 hours or I am filing a case in Consumer Court.
Please look into this quota/booking anomaly. Is it fair that passengers, especially senior citizens, are forced to pay for a much longer distance just to get a confirmed seat? Kindly resolve this issue.
Train: 20490 | Date: 16 April

This is not the first time. Since my father requires a lower berth, I am repeatedly forced to book a much more expensive ticket to Barmer (₹1180) and have him deboard at Kuchaman (actual fare ₹685).

For AY 2025–26, the original ITR due dates were extended (non-audit cases till 15 Sep 2025 and audit/corporate cases till 10 Dec 2025). But the last date for Belated/Revised ITR remains 31 Dec 2025, leaving an unusually short gap.
A large no. of returns are still not processed, especially cases involving big refunds or other complications. Meanwhile, taxpayers are receiving bulk communications on mismatches / refund issues / doubts on deductions & exemptions. Many genuine errors come to light only after processing and can be corrected only through revision-rectification doesn’t cover everything!!
Request: Please extend the due date for Belated/Revised ITR (u/s 139(4)/139(5)) to prevent avoidable financial loss to genuine taxpayers

What a pathetic service!!
One of my known is waiting for his discharge from the hospital. All the formalities done, your TAT has already expired, no response from customer care, no approval yet.
Look into it.
Sincere thanks to @FinMinIndia & @IncomeTaxIndia for extending the #TAR due date to 31st Oct 2025, positively considering our request. This timely relief is truly appreciated by the tax fraternity. 🙏
In view of glitches on the Income tax portal, strict directions by various High courts, CBDT today extended the due date of filing tax audit report by 1 month till 31st October 2025.
Congratulations to all those who have fought for democratic cause of betterment of nation and taxpayers.

The Department is preparing to move the interim order to the Supreme Court. Let them proceed — but this behaviour is creating real problems for BJP, risking public trust and vote bank.

Karnataka High court orders extension of due date u/s 44AB
Carefully listen to the interaction between the Income tax dept lawyer and Hon judge.
Even the judge is clear cut in putting forth why Income tax wants litigation instead of working in public interest ?

Big News from Rajasthan High Court
(Jodhpur Bench)
On the matter of Tax Audit Due Date Extension, the Hon’ble Court has directed an interim order that:
- Considering technical glitches and pendency
- Respondents are required to issue a notification extending the due date for filing of tax audit report
- The facility to file audit reports must be made fully operational.
- Due date to be extended for 30 days- 31st October

Dear All,
Kindly put this in your WhatsApp status and do not upload any Tax Audit today in support of the Nationwide Pen-Down Strike (24th Sept 2025).
👉 This Govt has been insensitive to the people. Extending the ITR due date by just one day clearly shows their arrogance towards the common people and professionals.
Let’s stay united and make our voice heard. ✊
No Extension of Audit Due Date – We Refuse to Work!
Dear @FinMinIndia
We want date extensions because your ministry failed to provide glitch free portal and working utilities in due time.
The way your officers are behaving and delaying the extension order is sheer arrogance.
