I've just fired off a story. It a 1,500 word limit story, and it's 1,500 words long.
Used to be 2,176.
So I've taken out 20%. It's lost some good stuff, including jokes, but it's a faster read, I guess.
Anyway, story out the door, and it's bed time.
The river at the bottom of my land.
Charles Darwin walked along it in 1836, 184 years ago.
