@hernandy_s I feel like Peter missing core aspects of his character 10 years into his journey was already pushing it a lot. I don’t think we should be doing Surf Dracula to begin with let alone with hysterically important people such as the X-Men.
@ZaneLedgerot @dmoneyisdmoney@spectrumarvel I appreciate you engaging genuinely and you brought up good points. I hope for the same thing and we definitely do deserve a little more diversity in the storytelling.
@ZaneLedgerot @dmoneyisdmoney@spectrumarvel I don’t know, I feel like we fundamentally disagree on what’s the universe should* look like. Ultimately whatever happened in DD would’ve had to be reversed eventually because of Spider-Man and it was reversed with Hawkeye/echo. It’s
@ZaneLedgerot @dmoneyisdmoney@spectrumarvel I don’t want more Fisk. Bullseye completely stole the show and I was left wanting more of him. But that doesn’t mean DDBA wasn’t a logical continuation of this version of the characters.
@ZaneLedgerot @dmoneyisdmoney@spectrumarvel Characters like Ben, Ray and Hector are meant to highlight the lack of justice Fisks receives. Their deaths serve to make us more angry Fisk isn’t penalized. We’re supposed to feel how Karen and Matt do, which is incredibly frustrated.
@ZaneLedgerot @dmoneyisdmoney@spectrumarvel It wasn’t though. Do you genuinely believe Fisk would’ve never returned to New York? Spider-Man is just now becoming more street level and Kingpin is naturally going to be a part of that. They explained that both Matt and Fisk cannot help themselves.
@ZaneLedgerot @dmoneyisdmoney@spectrumarvel The arc isn’t ruined, this is just who Matt is. There would’ve always been a reason for him to ruin his life regardless of if it was Fisk or someone else.
@HalCaedus@DiscussingFilm@EW James Gunn has stated that every creative lead under new DC has full control over their projects. James Gunn directed Superman, he has little to no involvement in lanterns.
