How will you continue your day after hearing that a father in Gaza, trapped beneath the rubble, begged rescuers not to save him?
Not because he had lost hope in life, but because he could hear his daughters’ final breaths beneath the debris. Their tiny hands were holding his in the darkness, as if pleading with him one last time. He was the father who had always been their safe refuge, yet this time he was powerless to pull them from the dust and shattered concrete.
Only his head was visible above the wreckage. He looked into the eyes of the rescuers, his own eyes exhausted by fear and helplessness, and said:
“Leave me… my daughters are here… I do not want to come out alone.”
What heart can bear such a scene? What language can describe the agony of a father who realizes he is losing his daughters one by one, while still holding their hands until they grow cold, unable to offer rescue or even one final embrace?
How will your day go on after knowing this story? How will you sit at your table in peace, or laugh at something trivial, knowing that somewhere there was a father whose last wish was not to survive alone?
And the question that continues to haunt the human conscience remains:
How much pain must the world witness before it finally hears the cry of a single father there?
We were at Shelbourne V Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park on Friday. The message is clear, the FAI must not play apartheid Israel, anywhere. The campaign goes on until we #StopTheGame
You thought Epstein Island was bad?
Israel built the only military prison in the world designated for children.
Children are subjected to beatings, torture, and rape on a regular basis.
Conviction rates in courts reach 99.7%.
This applies only to non-jewish children.
Journalist Janine di Giovanni:
"If a missile hits a hospital in Ukraine,
Europe calls it a war crime."
"But if missiles hit a hospital in Gaza and 100 people die, it’s Israel's right to defend itself."
Tucker Carlson: “Nos guste o no, Irán está defendiendo de manera única a los palestinos y al pueblo de Líbano. El resto del mundo está observando esto con horror y nadie más está haciendo nada al respecto”.
"75% of Irish football fans do not want this game to go ahead."
Protesters this evening outside Tolka Park expressed their frustration following the decision to move Ireland's match against Israel away from Dublin.

You can't hide genocide.
Moving the game is not a step forward but a huge step backwards.
On both legal and moral grounds we must not play Israel anywhere in the nations league.
A clear majority of Irish people, supporters and players are against the game.

✍️ "He makes you believe that you play for himself, for Martin."
You would struggle to find a player with a bad word to say about O'Neill. The current Celtic squad rave about his motivational methods.
But he often keeps himself to himself. Throughout last season, O'Neill lived in a hotel in Glasgow.
"It's very difficult to understand the man," admits Didier Agathe, reflecting on his time at Celtic. "We tried to understand the manager all the time to see if he's angry or not. Martin hides everything, you don't know him really.
"But one thing I know about him is every time at Sunday at 9pm, I went to the church and he was there, he was at the church. So I know he was a fervent Catholic at the time. So I believe that deep inside he's got principles.
"So probably the man management for him was also part of him. The player to consider, the kit man, to the cleaner, to the chef in the restaurant, the same way. You're not bigger than them.
"Then because of this, he managed to put everyone together in the club. And it's why he's very good at winning, because he gives the belief to everyone who is around him."
🗣️ Didier Agathe reflects on his time playing under Martin O'Neill in an exclusive interview with @JoshMcCafferty7.

It wouldn't get any better for England in this tournament
BREAKING:
This is Gaza right now.
Israel is raining bombs on civilian areas in the middle of the night while people sleep.
Not a peep from the complicit international community, of course.
