Ronin and I are still looking for beta readers! Hop into our Facebook group and get your teeth into some short horror fiction. You can read whatever you like whenever you like, just leave a note to help us get better. TWs included behind spoiler warnings. https://t.co/IFHLwEmcrM
Not really sure why I'm still here on Twitter, other than the macabre fascination with a slow-motion trainwreck. You can find us on Tumblr (https://t.co/5ii7xPrUNQ) and Mastadon (https://t.co/jDOKRXqOwv) and I will shut down this account on Thursday.
@PhilosophyTube "Best of Both Worlds" usually ranks high on the list of most popular episodes, but is kind of a strange place to start with no backstory. "Conundrum" is great: the crew wakes up with no memories and have to figure out who they are and what the ship is for, just like a new viewer.
Can anyone recommend a #Mastadon instance for traditional (physical) artists or horror writers or something? I need to get out of here .... #mastadonmigration
@maunski I'm considering starting a SFW account there, my NSFW one has been well received so far. Not perfect though, I received my first hate messages today, interested to see how Mastadon handles reporting.
@amigone I'm curious too. Kids have to do all kinds of things that are difficult, though. My guess is this is very low on the scale of stressors, on the level of "eating broccoli" or "wearing a scarf in winter." It's probably only stressful if the parents make it stressful.
@amigone I think part of the problem is, they're just correct enough to be convincing. It probably isn't good for kids, psychologically, to wear masks. But it's a very minor effect, and a very worthwhile tradeoff for the health benefit.
@MsPippinacious Write poorly, edit later. Badly written words are infinitely better than no words. If they still aren't coming, just start mashing the keyboard. It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense, that's future-you's problem.
