@ElliotHammerSR Congratulations. This might be the most stupid thing you’ve ever said. And I’ll level with you - I didn’t think you’d left yourself much room to grow.
Keep seeing James Timpson, Minister for Prisons and probation, described as "a guy that cuts keys"...
No, a man that has been chair of the Prison Reform society for nearly decade, actively works in the arena to reduce recidivism, & employs 40% of his workforce as ex offenders🧵
I've written Mark Cavendish off at least three times in the last eight years, and every time, he's proven me and all of the other doubters wrong.
His first Tour stage victory was 16 years ago. SIXTEEN YEARS! Lenny Martinez was 4 years old when Cav won his first Tour stage.
The longevity is incredible, but so too is the will to win, the NEED to win. Whatever had happened over these 3 weeks, he could retire a happy man, but I'm beyond delighted that he's just put the icing on his own cake.
Congratulations, Mark Cavendish.

Can we all make sure the fact that the Greens did EXACTLY as well as Reform with a *fraction* of Reform’s money and airtime does not go unnoticed, even if the news media furiously ignores it?
Keir Starmer isn’t the first barrister PM but he is certainly the first in modern times to have had a truly stellar career before going into politics. He’s also someone who in 15 years at the Bar, practising in similar areas and after 6 years at the chambers he was a founding member of, I have never heard a bad word about. He is hugely respected. In my own interactions with him he has always been impressive. He could be a formidable PM. I am hopeful, but there is a lot to fix! Best of luck to him, all the many new MPs, and the new government
