@zero_to_seed@0xglitchbyte Would you then call the bloated and opinionated frameworks/libraries on the web as low level, when people choose the most popular at the moment and vibe coding 10x output? We don't unite in code solutions just because of AI.
@VizierPrime@GaryMarcus@elonmusk As premade plugins and nocode tools? Or lower barriers make more people to create software? Why is open source framework administrators complain about AI code slop from people?
@LinusEkenstam Random AI trailer scenes with mostly one person acting isn’t the complete art of movie making. It’s cheap and replace a lot of things but have still long way to go. Why choose when you can have both of worlds.
@MartinNebelong Cool idea. The attitude that AI replaces all handmade work is boring. Hard to grasp that any generic AI images or music will go down to zero value on its own quickly. That is more scary for new AI creators than for an artist that can make unique stuff.
@mrjonfinger Or just higher level of eduction in the modern world where AI is now become everyday tools that everyone need to catch up on. Not passivity. It’s kind of widespread lie that AI does or will do everything for you. More startups and businesses will come. Find out the needs.
@MartinNebelong You can quickly iterate ideas to concept art. But it’s also an iillusion of quality and details. Like what have you put there, random things, strange clothes, easily uncanny valley. How do you put your identity in there?
@jasonthevictor@minchoi It’s still no release date, take time to generate clips and going to take time to understand how these tools are going to be integrated in a professional workflow. Still a lot of errors if you look closer, we need better tools.
@BRobo82 Image and video are more straight forward than a complex game engine with interaction and limited resources. Not too hard or easy, fun to play and be entertaining. More realism add more challenges. Game industry is of course vulnerable already.
@BRobo82 I see AI tools as creative easy to start with but hard to master. It’s a cynical choir that AI going to do everything for you, going to replace your job etc, as in the tweet. We need better control in tools and tech problem solvers and tech artists have a bright future I think.
@ravisirsi@nickfloats@Uncanny_Harry But all things you mention are not AGI, its narrow AI. I dont doubt that people with different tools can do great things. Here it looks very detailed but it’s total random when you look closer. We are going forward sooner or later but it’s extremely hyped and that doesn’t help.
@ravisirsi@nickfloats@Uncanny_Harry It’s like both AGI is soon here and all jobs going to be replaced and ”this is just the beginning”. Going from image generation to natural motion and fix uncanny valley is hard. Progress is fast but all over the time place so hard to guess when.
@OskSta Happy palette. I learned from you that it's at the transitions things can happen! Wonder if subtle horizontal cliff lines can help the impression of depth.
@OskSta Cool line style that look like watercolors. I would leave out the low contrast lines. How far can you go. Multiple small inaccurate lines, draft, too long lines, leaking colors 😉
@simonstalenhag @TimWollweber @Vixthefox@tinymediaempire A little bit of moral and conscience doesn't hurt. Less polarization and shaming. Hey it's Simon. https://t.co/P3fOSFxlMQ
