So a pensioner could we'll get (approx): £121 state pension, pension credit makes it up to £250, attendance allowance £89 plus any housing benefit and council tax benefits etc. When youngsters and sickness benefit is around £73 and assessable which age bracket loses out?

Not fair for the young again. There are many pensioners still working and getting state pension and any company/private pensions. They don't pay NI contributions (do they?)
