I’ve been on this platform for quite some time. I decided early on I was not going to engage in discussion or verbal back and forth. Being in a public facing position I realize along with that comes criticism, scrutiny and public opinion, good and bad. I have had personal attacks, been told I hope you die on the way home etc. and of course the standard “you’re an idiot!” I don’t engage in responses and have come to understand this is part of the job and I’m fine with that. What I don’t find acceptable is when someone posts a totally fabricated vile and disgusting account about my wife and children. This is so far over the line it’s borderline criminal. To bring young children into this type of discourse is reprehensible and no regard for damage it might do going forward. Leave my family alone.
