BREAKING: Edmonton and surrounding areas are under a severe weather warning as Environment Canada forecasts an extremely dangerous storm system tonight.
The region faces destructive wind gusts exceeding 120 km/h, torrential rainfall up to 70 mm capable of causing flash floods, and giant tennis ball-sized hail up to 7 cm in diameter. Meteorologists confirm atmospheric conditions are highly favorable for rotating supercells, creating a distinct risk for tornadoes.
Residents across YEG, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Leduc, and Spruce Grove are urged to secure loose outdoor property, charge communication devices, and prepare to seek immediate shelter in a basement or interior room if warnings escalate.
What Theo's cartoon really tells us is that, in Canada, the government control of the media is so secure that they don't even feel the need to hide it anymore.
The opposition will face the full weight of the Canadian subsidized media in every election, and Canadian voters will always be subject to a propaganda blitz if the polling numbers aren't going the government's way.
If the government fails at anything, you won't hear about it. If the government isn't doing what they said they'd do, expect a campaign of deflection. If the opposition is right about anything, expect a smear campaign and hit pieces using every tool at the media's disposal.
This puts the Canadian media in a position to fight democracy, not to support it.
Ask yourself how we got here.

This poor guy thought he lost his dog…
He’s driving around looking for him, even stops people going the other way to ask if they’ve seen a dog. They calmly tell him, “There’s one on top of your truck.”
He looks up… and sure enough, his dog is just riding on the roof like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
The pure relief and shock on his face is everything 😂
These were the headlines 10 hours ago from our mainstream media machine. They have all since been changed when you click on those links. Some don’t even exist anymore and give you a page 404 error. Each one had this headline. Now they are gone & replaced with a different headline regarding what happened.
RFK Jr. explains why Fauci had such a problem with early treatments like ivermectin:
"Tony Fauci's problem is this: there's a little-known Federal law that says, 'You cannot give an emergency use authorization to a vaccine if there is any medication approved for any purpose that is shown effective against the target disease.'”
“So if Tony Fauci or anybody had admitted that hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin are effective against COVID, it would have been ILLEGAL for them to give the emergency use authorization to the vaccines, and they could have NEVER gotten them approved. And a 200 billion dollar enterprise would have collapsed."
Just a reminder, folks: according to Elections Alberta, this is not a campaign office.
It’s apparently just an office with a giant sign that says “FOREVER CANADIAN CAMPAIGN OFFICE.”
Why has not the City of Edmonton got its downtown office workers back in the downtown?
Why are they still working at home, @AndrewKnack?
The lack of people downtown is one reason restaurant owners say they're struggling.
