Everyone’s building agents now 🤓
Bots that write, search, negotiate, route tasks, call APIs, do work for you.
And we’ve already hit the obvious problem: how do you know which ones to trust? 👇
ERC-8004 is going live on mainnet soon.
By enabling discovery and portable reputation, ERC-8004 allows AI agents to interact across organizations ensuring credibility travels everywhere.
This unlocks a global market where AI services can interoperate without gatekeepers.
This week, crypto started talking about “bunker mode” 🪖
Ethereum researcher @drakefjustin raised the possibility that advances in AI could eventually threaten the cryptography protecting wallets, kicking off a much bigger discussion around how prepared crypto actually is if that ever happens.
Meanwhile, @circle welcomed @djkhaled to “team USDC” and immediately reminded everyone who survived the ICO era why his name sounds familiar.
Pudgy Penguins also called time on @AbstractChain after spending tens of millions trying to make its consumer L2 work.
Tether is still content with keeping USDT outside Europe rather than rebuilding its reserve model around MiCA, while @RAILGUN_Project gave us something considerably nicer to talk about: practical DeFi privacy (that’s now being built directly into @ambire 👀 💜)
Quite a week.

The ICO era people are gonna love this one.
Khaled has already been through the grinder once, and somehow that history didn’t bother Circle much 🪙
Executive judgment in this space remains undefeated.
Hard to leave this one out of this week’s edition.
The trenches move too fast 🙄
Last month, we discussed Robinhood Chain degens pairing memecoins with Stock Tokens, letting meme demand squeeze their limited supply and briefly pull prices away from the real shares.
Daily volume across these pairs reached $443 million in early September. On September 2 they handled $217 million, beating the $127 million traded directly in Stock Tokens.
Now the volume is down 96% ❗️
Around 26,000 tokens were launched every day in September, but most attracted little trading and are already worth almost nothing, according to Fortune👇

🚀 Glamsterdam is live on Sepolia!
Another Ethereum upgrade, with 18 Core + 7 Other EIPs, is now live on the Sepolia public testnet.
A powerful demonstration of Ethereum’s public-goods infrastructure - open for projects, developers, and infrastructure providers to test compatibility with upcoming mainnet changes.
Time to test!

Back in the day, $1B+ in token unlocks could actually matter for how you traded the month.
Now 90% of it is just $HYPE.
Hyperliquid really ate the market.

October is here, and calling it Uptober already feels like tempting fate. While we wait for the market to earn the name, here’s what happened in crypto this week 👇
Dogecoin could get more useful beyond payments: @DogeOS opened a testnet for trading and lending apps, though Dogecoin miners aren’t securing them yet.
Ethereum is thinking bigger, with @VitalikButerin 's 2030 vision replacing repeated calculations with shared work and verified proofs.
For something ready today, @ambire Mobile V2 brings the extension’s full wallet setup to phones. Readers can get access with an exclusive code hidden inside this week's edition (click below) 👀
@base also brought new tools for tokenized stocks to handle identity checks, stock splits and issuer controls.
Meanwhile, someone stole just 0.36 ETH in tips from @MetaMask Staking. The security raised doubts about signing key security, prompting nearly 17,000 validators holding roughly $1.5 billion to begin exiting 🤦♂️

CHARLES HOSKINSON SAYS CRYPTO WILL “EAT” AI OVER THE NEXT 5 TO 10 YEARS
He thinks the current data center boom will eventually give way to a much more distributed AI infrastructure:
- Hoskinson expects data centers to be massively overbuilt, with demand eventually falling short and creating “dark data centers”
- He sees AI shifting toward local models, edge computing and distributed grids instead of relying entirely on centralized infrastructure
- By 2030, he expects crypto and AI to converge, helping drive the crypto market toward $10 trillion and billions of users

Once the overnight stock market reopened and minting resumed, thousands of new HIMS tokens entered the pools and the premium disappeared 🤏
Degens squeezed the tiny tokenized float but the real stock never moved.
Completely useless, slightly funny and only possible in crypto 🤷♂️
Degens found a new weekend game: cornering tokenized stocks with memecoins 🥘
$BONER was launched to target Robinhood’s tokenized $HIMS (tokenized version of shares in the telehealth company Hims & Hers). Instead of a proper trading pair, $BONER was paired with $HIMS.
Meanwhile, the main HIMS dollar pool had barely any stock tokens left to sell. Since the real stock market was closed, Robinhood’s issuer couldn’t buy shares and mint more HIMS to meet demand.
The result was a tokenized version of a $28.84 stock briefly trading at $61.
