How administrators interact in the cafeteria, bus line, hallway, etc, may be more important for building relationships and culture than how they interact in a meeting or their office. Culture and morale are impacted by all interactions.
THIS! If you still doing the work, youโre not the leader. Youโre the micromanager. Loving people and having them feel loved is the most important part of being responsible for the people.
One of the hardest things to do is to refrain from telling your side of the story no matter how painful the narrative that is being portrayed may be. Know that things always come full circle and in due time the truth will be revealed. Keep moving forward. Your purpose awaits.

Great teacher moment today. My sonโs travel baseball team played a team today whose coach I taught when he was in ninth grade. He was coaching his sonโs baseball team. When my son was on third base, he leaned over and said โMan, I love your dad.โ Awesome moment. #stillateacher
