An autonomous research agent beat most humans at improving a 30B model.
The next AI lab hire might not be human.
You don't need a frontier model for every query.
A fine-tuned few-billion model matched a coding giant on text-to-SQL.
API default ≠ optimal stack. Size is a cost center.
This is genius by tech CEOs.
Spend hundreds of billions of dollars racing toward AGI.
Never establish a concrete definition of what AGI actually is.
Eventually declare that you’ve achieved it.
Then immediately introduce the next frontier, probably ASI, and raise another trillion dollars to chase that.
The greatest part about racing toward a finish line nobody can define is that you can move it forever.
$TSLA owners will be able to add or remove their Cybercab from the robotaxi fleet with one tap, like Airbnb for cars. Leave for a week, a few days, or a few hours, and the car earns on its own; tap again and it comes back.
Elon says he’s highly confident that income will far exceed the monthly payment.
🚨 MARKETS BRACE FOR KEY U.S. INFLATION DATA THIS WEEK
August producer prices arrive Thursday, followed by consumer inflation data Friday the final major inflation readings before the Federal Reserve’s mid-September meeting.
The week also brings the ECB rate decision, Apple’s September 9 event and Oracle earnings, setting up a potentially volatile stretch across stocks, bonds, currencies and crypto.
🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran just shot a Mach 10 missile over a U.S. aircraft carrier; Americans conducted evasive maneuvers and said NOTHING about what happened after...
Fmr. CIA analyst Larry Johnson joins me fresh off an 18-hour flight, and his read is characteristically blunt:
Iran chose NOT to hit the ship, and that may be the only reason it is still afloat.
The Ghadr-Basir missile has a 500kg warhead, infrared terminal guidance that tracks moving vessels, and travels at Mach 10-12, faster than any U.S. destroyer air defense system can intercept.
Every time U.S. ships fire interceptors to defend against Iranian missiles, they burn through stockpiles they can't replace at sea, meaning Iran wins even when it misses.
Iran's security chief confirmed it was a test above the ship, not an attempt to strike it, but that distinction may matter less than people think: Iran now knows the missile WORKS, and the U.S. knows it can't stop it.
Meanwhile, Iran is expanding its restricted zone outside Hormuz, the tanker war is escalating, and this war ends in one of two ways: A deal Trump can't politically accept, or a Russian military collapse in Ukraine that frees up American attention.
He doesn't think either is coming anytime soon...

Bittensor doesn’t need more people yapping about what $TAO could become.
What matters at @ExploitSummit is getting the builders in one room, putting real products on display and letting the strongest teams prove they’re actually shipping.
That’s the stuff I actually wanna see.
Tomorrow marks our 60th day.
RobinFlow has become Robinhood Chain’s leading token-locking platform, with more than 150 projects already locking their tokens through us. 🔒
Helping builders bring more trust and transparency to Robinhood Chain.
We’re proud to keep building here.

🚨 Harmony is proposing to shut down its own blockchain after 7 years.
Holders have 3 days to get out.
Three weeks ago the team evaluated migrating $ONE to Ethereum and rejected it. On 6 September it became the entire plan.
Stated reason: "the threats posed by state actors and AI agents are too great."
What does not migrate:
→ Multisig safes
→ Liquidity pools
→ On-chain apps
Anything sitting in those on the final block risks being omitted entirely.
And delegated stake does not land in your Ethereum wallet. It lands in what the proposal calls individual governor vaults.
Governors are validators. Validators only get paid if they:
> Shut the node down on schedule
> Sign an agreement
> Keep their stake
> Serve as governors of the new AI video venture
$1.372 million, four quarterly installments, all four required.
Whoever holds delegated ONE on Ethereum is being paid to stay aligned with the business those tokens now fund.
Deadline to exit every contract: 10 September 2026.
No claim is required and no migration portal exists. Anyone sending you a claim link before Thursday is stealing from you.
A chain that just rewrote its own history is proposing to end it. The proposal is non-binding. The deadline is not.
