NEWS: Tesla Semi is getting a dedicated service center in Las Vegas
Two weeks after volume production started, Tesla filed a Clark County permit for a Semi repair garage on North Las Vegas Boulevard, near Interstate 15, one of the busiest freight routes in the West. It's the first of about 20 planned US Semi service sites to show up in public records.

Elon Musk's primary goal in this world is to do good. With every one of his companies, the objective has always been the same: to provide people with what they need. That is precisely why he is a man worthy of respect and trust.
Maye Musk on Elon:
“He doesn't do things to challenge, he does things to do good. So everything he does is to do good.
For example, the Zip2, door-to-door directions. And I said, 'That's great.' Because I had big maps, I had to use them when I went anywhere.
And then we did PayPal, and he said, 'You'll be able to send money by email.' And I said, 'Well, that's crazy.' And then it worked out fine.
And then he went on to Tesla, electric cars. And then he found that the gas industry hated him, of course. And then the other car companies actually supported him, and then they hated him. And so every headline was negative.
And now we found out that in the last few years, the government has been paying hundreds of millions of dollars to the media if they will trash Elon every day. And they do. And then once that, Reuters was paid that amount. Once they do that, then the New York Times, CNN, BBC, they can quote Reuters and trash him. And I don't know how he copes with it. It makes me furious.
But the point is, people are buying Teslas. Loving it. I get upset, but he's just saying, 'You know, there are people that are not happy about electric cars.'
And then, of course, when he said he's going to start doing rockets, and I thought, oh, that's cute. I mean, really? Rockets? And now it's like a rocket. Twice a week he's launching rockets.
And then there's satellites that he wanted to do. He said it will save people in forests, or on top of hills, or in the middle of the ocean who are stuck. It will save their lives. And now he's supplying Cybertrucks with Starlinks at the fires in Los Angeles.
So he sees the future. He sees where there's a need, and he goes against everybody else. So if you see there's somewhere that you can do better, just get out there and work on it, and you've got social media to help you.”
Elon Musk: Starlink is the biggest thing you can do to lift people out of poverty
“The single biggest thing you can do to lift people out of poverty and help them is giving them an internet connection.
Because once you have the internet connection, you can learn anything for free and sell your goods and services to the global market. Once you have knowledge and the ability to engage in commerce, this is going to greatly improve quality of life for people throughout the world, and it has.”
BREAKING: Starlink Wi-Fi is coming to 41 Royal Air Maroc jets, a first for an African airline ✈️
Morocco's national carrier will start installing Starlink on 41 aircraft in early 2027, free for members of its Safar Flyer loyalty program, making it the first African airline to offer Starlink onboard.
"From Casablanca to the rest of Africa and beyond, travelers will enjoy reliable internet in flight," Starlink said.
I'm just wondering, when will we finally see this fight? 🍆🌶️It could be very interesting, I suppose 😅😂🤣
The fight never happened and the ruler was never produced. Dana White is still waiting for a contest 😂😂
Elon Musk says superintelligence and robotics could usher in an “age of abundance,” and I see a path to that. With a universal high income, there will no longer be poverty, disease, or suffering in the world.
“I think by far the most likely outcome is an age of abundance, where we don't have just universal basic income, we have universal high income.
People speak about medical benefits, but maybe it's worth talking a bit more about that. When you have robots and you have super intelligence, it means that everyone in the world can have better medical care than anyone here, including me.
And wouldn't that be wonderful?”
Austin, Texas, has become a true technology capital, where cutting-edge technologies are created and made available to residents before anywhere else in the world.
Tesla's Cybercab fleet in Texas nearly quadruples to 169!
A month after its commercial launch in Austin, Tesla has 169 driverless Cybercabs authorized for commercial use in Texas, up from 45 at the unveiling. Tesla's robotaxi fleet in the state also includes 420 Model Ys. Austin remains the only city offering Cybercab rides, and Tesla is looking to expand across Texas and into Nevada and Florida.
Starlink reaches a rural secondary school and nursing school in Mazowe, Zimbabwe🛰️
Dr. Maxmore Njanji, member of parliament for Mazowe Central, donated Starlink kits to Shutu Adventist Secondary School and the Howard Hospital School of Nursing and Midwifery. He handed over the secondary school's kit at Thursday's prize-giving and is also pushing to bring electricity to the campus so students can use digital learning tools.
At the nursing school, which just graduated more than 70 nurses, the kit supports research and online coursework.
Before Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk slept on an office couch and showered at the YMCA.
In 1995 Elon and his brother Kimbal started Zip2 in Palo Alto, making online city guides for newspapers. Instead of renting an apartment, they rented a small office and slept there.
"We showered at the YMCA and we were so hard-up that we only had one computer. The website was up during the day and I was coding it at night, seven days a week, all the time," recalled Elon.
In 1999 Compaq bought Zip2 for roughly $300 million. Elon used the money not for yachts or an island, he used it to start X dot com, which later became PayPal. And money from selling it was used to start Tesla and SpaceX.
Starship is very remarkable. The spacecraft is not only the largest flying object ever built, but it is also fully reusable, boasts record-breaking payload capacity, and runs on methane fuel.
I can hardly imagine the rich inner world Elon must possess to have conceived and created this.
Starship will take us to the Moon and Mars and turn humanity into a multi-planetary species!

We’re just our memories, and death is when that information disappears. If you got perfectly copied and put back together with zero loss, it wouldn’t even matter that the original body was gone.
The real issue for keeping AI aligned with what humans actually want is how slow we are at expressing anything. We talk and type at a crawl, so an AI trying to figure out collective human preferences is kind of like trying to make a plant happy when it barely gives any signals😅 So yeah, we should close that communication gap in time.
