The irony is that Irish Sport Horses became famous in eventing, where endurance matters. The Warmblood crosses are gorgeous, but without the Thoroughbred genes, they lose what made the classic ISH so desirable for that discipline.

Sad to learn the true Irish Sport Horse population is declining, but I understand why. The classic ISH was Irish Draught crossed with Thoroughbred. Now, breeders are leaning toward Irish Draught x Warmblood, bc fancier conformation often sells better than endurance.

For context, I was deep in New Age beliefs from 2020 to 2021. Moving to Florida for college snapped me out of the worst of it, but it still took another year for me to come around to Christianity.

I used to call Christian faith “religious psychosis” while believing crystals had energy and tarot cards could predict the future. Totally mental. Christians were just like, “don’t lie, don’t steal, respect ur parents,” while I was asking a deck of cards if I’d ever be happy.

@c1nnamonbunny Recently moved back to Massachusetts after living in Florida for college. All the moms here are visibly 35+. Whereas in Florida, I would say only about half the moms I’d see were over 35. In the Northeast, this is super normal. In the South and Midwest, not so much.
