@Metalfy @0xyM2 The jackdaw is a brig, which compared to a first rate ship of the line like HMS Victory is tiny. HMS Victory makes USS constitution look like a boat, and constitution in turn would make the jackdaw look like a boat. The size scaling is crazy hahahahaha

@Andy_Ross1962 @wrong10433 @SpenPartThree @Drachinifel I’m not dissing the Seafire at all, it was an amazing close range interceptor on naval aircraft, but if it was slower by 10-15mph to put a stronger landing gear on it the Seafire still outclassed any IJN Navy fighter at the time. Almost 50% over of the power/weight of the zero.

@wrong10433 @SpenPartThree Not in the slightest, I would highly recommend @Drachinifel series about their operations. They were held in very high regard by Admiral Spruance, and while the American carriers could handle more aircraft in the kamikaze zone a British armoured carrier would shrug off a hit.

@messioso @marcwinther Even as far back as when (I think it was FaceIt with ECS?) made a deal with YouTube back in like 2018 it was a better platform to watch it on anyway. But you couldn’t PogChamp on YouTube so everyone lost their minds
