At this year’s Chelsea Flower Show Raspberry Pi 5 and Hailo AI worked together to automatically recognise and record photos of bees and butterflies.
Embedded sensors in trees also prompted conversations with visitors about each tree’s health via an app.
Oh… and this Intelligent Garden by Avanade also won a gold award for Best Construction 🥇 🍾 🏆

We promised, we delivered. The GitHub Copilot Chat client for VS Code is now open source under the MIT license. This means, you can:
🔍 Explore the code on GitHub
🛠️ Open PRs, file issues & contribute
💬 See what prompts/context we send to LLMs
🤖 Use Copilot agent mode to implement your own features and bugfixes
And this is just the beginning. Next, we’ll refactor components of Copilot into the heart of VS Code.
Open source is the largest team sport on earth. Together, let’s keep winning! 🥇
🚀 VS Code now supports the full Model Context Protocol spec! From tools to prompts, resources, sampling, & a new security-first auth model—MCP is now a complete standard for AI agent integration.

SQL Formatter Visual Studio extension
By Mads Kristensen.
https://t.co/W0reyowIm6
This is a welcome edition to Visual Studio.
Since SQL-Server is what I use 99 percent of the time this is what I tested.
How did it do? Excellent.
I liked the option for comma last rather than comma first.
How does the extension compare to Red Gate's SQL-Prompt formatter? Pretty close.
Is it perfect? At least for me, good enough and its free.
The only way the extension can be improved is for developers to try it out and leave a review.
Hopefully at some point the extension becomes part of Visual Studio.

💡An option to remove square brackets.
We've just launched https://t.co/TEAWhiFwNF (today!)
It celebrates the increasing use of AI by sharing over 250 use cases of AI across various industries and different AI technologies.
Not super detailed yet, we're going for breadth and then later depth.
I'd love to get peoples feedback on how we can make it better, or industries and use cases we've missed. Thanks all!
