It’s crazy that the most impactful music that accurately captures Nigeria’s sociopolitical reality is Fela Kuti’s music. That is why he is a legend that even after his death, he’s still widely celebrated.

This is what legacy is about. It’s not about buying flashy cars or dominating charts. It’s not about pretending to be a “Giant” or a “Big Bird”.
