Riding the high of #PhileFest which was capped off by a once in a lifetime lunch w/Chris Carter and @FrankSpotnitz. I can’t thank all of the incredible talent from my forever favorite show for being so generous with their time and attention. The #XFiles community is unrivaled 1/3

"The American empire is over," Richard D. Wolff, U.S. professor of international affairs, tells Al Jazeera. Already the biggest economic power on the planet is not the US and its allies, but China and the BRICS. But no U.S. politician dares to tell the people: "It's over."

to him for taking a chance on me. He took a chance on a lot of people, and Hollywood wouldn’t be what it is today without him. RIP (2/2)

I’m a Hollywood nobody, but Roger Corman gave me 1st job out of film school. He made me Director of Int’l sales for his studio and sent me to Cannes, to Milan. At 22! When I left, he came to my office and offered to write a glowing reference letter. I’ll always be thankful (1/2)

and I cannot overstate what it meant to me.

Happy 30th to the TV show that shaped me. And thank you to the creators, creatives, characters and fellow fans for reminding me, in a small way, what life’s all about. 3/3

I don’t usually cross-post my fandom life on main like this, but this weekend was soul-affirming in a way that’s hard to describe. Three days of positivity, respect, generosity and unbridled enthusiasm without judgement was a balm in *gestures vaguely* THIS 2/3
