Last week Tuesday SNA Exhibition and Competition Committee took the gospel of this year's edition of Chief Okwy Ogbuefi Art Competition to students of Fine and Applied Arts Department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State.
“If the Federal Government establishes a seaport in the South-East or even Rivers State, Lagos' monopoly over Nigeria's economy will cøllapse. They will be the ones begging people to use the Lagos seaport because people will now have alternatives. Abia State, up to Oguta Lake, can accommodate a seaport. Back then, I used to import my goods through the Port Harcourt seaport. This alone will greatly boost Nigeria's economy. That's why Nigeria needs good leadership.”

Today, I visited Abor village in Enugu State to see the village children learning Maths. I turned into a teacher today as well.
Some of the children don’t have teachers in their schools. Some said their teachers are always in a hurry to cover their syllabuses, while others have very uninteresting teachers.
I personally experienced the joy and eagerness in the children. This gives me so much joy.
The lessons will now be held Monday to Saturday, and we will run 2 batches every day because of the crowd.
We will run an internal assessment every 2 weeks.
This now looks like a model that will eradicate illiteracy in villages and low-income areas.
Of all the Nigerian Presidential candidates, only one candidate has actually visited South-Africa to know what the actual hell is going on there with our people there.
That’s Peter Obi
If we highlight these things, they will say we are playing politics.
KALU OKORONKWO: "How does a man repeatedly branded “stingy” leave behind a trail of multimillion-naira donations to hospitals, nursing schools, universities, humanitarian organisations, churches and community institutions across Nigeria? How does someone immortalised in Nigeria’s political folklore by the phrase “I no dey give shishi” emerge as one of the country’s most consistently documented private supporters of healthcare and education? It is a paradox that challenges conventional political narratives."

A police man caught on Camera saying “If you're Igbo or another person, I'll just flag you”.
Sadly, this is the ethnic profiling Igbos go through in Nigeria every day.
The Central Bank of Nigeria, which requires annual returns from banks in Nigeria, has not published an Annual report and Statement of Account since 2022.
I've spent the last several months researching, travelling, and studying why countries like Singapore, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Canada and Finland built some of the world's best public education systems.
One thing became clear:
Nigeria doesn't just have an education problem. We have a school management problem.
Today, I'm releasing a white paper that proposes a new way to transform our public schools, keeping them publicly owned while introducing world-class management and accountability.
This isn't about politics.
It's about giving every Nigerian child the opportunity to attend a world-class public school.
I hope this sparks one of the most important conversations our country has had about education.
Read it. Criticise it. Improve it. Share it.
If we get education right, we change Nigeria.
