@ShyamOW Bad advice. If a player is actually innocent, contact someone who leads regional tournament administration and they will ask customer service to do a more in-depth review of the account. Keeping information from administration increases the risk of competitive play suspension.
@TheEsportsProf Maybe! Such a small number of schools contacts who actually have these rights. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish if they actually do, as there’s not a great way to verify. Perhaps there’s a hole here that could be filled by a 3rd party agency 🤔 that’d be ideal.
@TheEsportsProf Just looks worse on the schools who don’t have it. The overall goal here was some level of consistency. Feels bad for schools who can’t use their logos when others can though. I know the best case scenario is all teams have logos and I believe we’ll get there eventually.
@TheEsportsProf I am actually surprised by how many broadcasters may be leveraging marks they are not licensed to use. Some schools / directors definitely have support and ability to share logos, but many smaller teams actually do not have this support! Especially for bigger schools.
@TheEsportsProf Hey Shaun, there’s not a super strong supporting licensing pipeline for using logos with participating colleges for esports. Many teams who share logos with operators may not actually have proper school permissions. As school support grows this will likely change 👍
