@blasko_art Man there are so many good Souls/Fields-like games coming out recently, I might have to shelf my own one and work on something else after Legion
@HKerimK I just make the layout with planes to form the floor in Blender by duplicating them, etc. Walls are usually two planes tall, it works for my game's scale perfectly
Then duplicate the floor to form the ceiling, flip the faces and apply the textures from the atlas
@NotZ3Music I wonder if @QueenNephi really is into trains or not because now you've made me curious 💔
Honestly though, never thought I'd sit through an entire locomotive rundown but you have a really entertaining enthusiasm towards the topic and I just had to stay and listen to it all
Sorry for the long downtime, internals really need attention/polish (plus my full time job yadda yada).
Added a category-based weapon slot system which maps out from 1-5, makes it a bit easier to navigate and tidier as well!
(Had to refactor EVERY script related to guns tho)
@Filipe59359676 That's actually not a bad idea, I was thinking of something inspired by Half-Life 2 if the idea of a weapon wheel didn't pan out in the long run, or make it a selectable option to be category vs flat selection like MGS2
You can read more about this update in my Discord server's #progress_dump and #news_and_announcement channels because character limits suck!!!

Each category remembers what was the last selected gun, and holds up to 9 guns (36 guns total! Mostly interesting for multiplayer or give-all cheats)
This project is also 4 years old soon and I have a lot of antique code in it that needs reworks because they're very fragile.
@Nik_apostolides@TheGameVerse "First light? More like good night."
or
"Looks like this operation was stirred... not shaken."
Didn't expect the man himself to show up though, glad to see you around Nick!
