@loch_lorien @JaimeJMSmith But is rudeness a right? How do we balance freespeech and incivility? now need a civility policy? I am not arguing rudeness is right only how to regulate and punish uncivil behaviour, how to test objectively. output no rudeness - outcome fear to speak? Where is the balance?
@mariannetinkler@charlie_psych @ShaneOMara3 I do like to walk, one of my favourite hobbies, but like listening to music I reflect sometimes it is just another distraction and actually I only truely slow down when I stop become still and silent physically and mentally.
@charlie_psych Collective agreement to slow down, tough when we have a culture built on a macho concept of working harder and faster. The desire to impress rather than to individually excel is an issue I think. I slow myself down but see the pressure to do more with less in the system.
So today I learned that integrity isn’t just doing the right thing, or doing the right thing when no-one is looking. It’s also doing the right thing when those around you expect you to be comfortable doing the wrong thing.
I think there are two types of people (adults) in the West.
Those who look at both the original & the revised Bloom's Taxonomy, and quickly see >100 glarring nonesenses, anomalies, overlaps, flawed normalisations/categories, flawed 'logical'/causal sequences - and the others.
@ComplexWales Well they are new and they may be great but I suppose I must wait and see how the new 'job 3's' position themselves and if they enable the work to be done! But something just doesnt smell quite right....
Noticing a significant number of new director and executive appointments in my organisation. Was pondering it and researching the new people, then remembered the CEX is about 18months in post then I remembered this good blog I read by @ComplexWales https://t.co/KzNP80iTbz
Absolutely agree with this...instead of talking can we just try something...literally anything at this point (usually my thoughts as my head bangs off the nearest wall)
Twitter is a difficult place for NHS staff at the moment. Our inbox makes for tough reading.
If you’re coming onto here to abuse NHS staff, many of whom are living with all kinds of trauma, please take a long hard look at yourself.
