Our education majors are out in schools! Elementary Education Clinical 1 classes were in Bowling Green Independent School District classrooms this week.
Terrific morning meeting Barren Inc.’s Leaders of the Future! I commend these rising leaders for exploring the possibility of a college degree, and I look forward to welcoming many of them into our Hilltopper Family! @WKUGordonFord
A big thanks to @opeswku & @WKUSTE for the opportunity to discuss school safety with your students! It was fun to get to work alongside @ChrisStunson once again as well!

Mr. Rob Akers is a big part of our EDAD program's success. He is the lead faculty member when it comes to innovation and recruiting. He has cultivated relationships with partners across the state which has created a sustainable model for our program to follow. Go Tops! #ThisIsUs
EDU 250 has taught me to stay prepared. It has shown me ways to teach and learn that I have never encountered. This class is a class I would recommend to all my fellow classmates wanting to become a teacher!
The professor is also the best!

During this season of thanks, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our Kentucky Legislators for their support of the student teaching stipend. Take a moment to hear how the stipend removed barriers for first generation student teacher Anna Bryson! @WKUCEBS
Last day of actual student teaching today! It’s almost graduation day. I am so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to be at BGHS this semester. I have learned so much teaching and subbing, and I have built such fulfilling relationships with students! Thank you Purples! 💜💛
I want to take this opportunity to thank Drakes Creek, the CEPT team, and most importantly Mr. Margarella for all the support they have given me this semester. Teaching is such a wonderful thing and this experience has fostered within me a sincere love for this profession!
Shoutout to @DrMargarella@WKUCEBS@WKUSTE for an amazing semester in EDU250! I have learned so much to take on my teaching journey! I have learned great ways to have effective classroom management, useful ways to teach minds of all kinds, and about assessments and evaluations!
Just finished my second observation and safe to say I am definitely going to miss these guys! Each and every student I talked to this semester has shown so much individuality and character; I’m so fortunate and honored to have had such incredible experiences this semester!
This was our last day as a gator :( Thank you @DrakesCreekMS for allowing me to come and learn to be a teacher! I had an amazing time at this school and can't wait to see where I'll be headed next on this journey!
It’s a great day in Clinical II! Outdoor Classroom for ELED 407 and a surprise visit from Dean Murphy and Professor Chip! Doesn’t get any better on this beautiful November day! I have the best job working with future teachers! ❤️

“Mr. Theis, how do I be a teacher like you?”
I was asked this on my last day of CEPT1. It made me realize how only being in the class 2 days a week for a semester, I can still have an impact on these students. I’m convinced that teaching is the most fulfilling job.
