The devastating death of the seven Franciscan Friars last Saturday is another proof that most deaths in Nigeria are avoidable. These Friars had an accident and for hours, there were no responders to attend to them. The first people that went to the scene were busy taking photos/videos. The Friars were left there for almost 3 hours before help eventually came.

If they had been attended to promptly and taken to the hospital, at least, those who didn't die on the spot would have had the chance to recovery and life.

We are losing our humanity in Nigeria and this culture needs to be changed. We need to put human life first.

@NapaSwDev @JoshuaTCharles coming from a country that is majority Christian, we have live, played, attended Catholic schools with people of the Islamic faith and joked about some stuff and never experienced tension btn us. But we have boundaries.
