I was raised in a modest family in Kanungu District. My life changed drastically during the second semester of my second year when my father suffered a thrombus in his heart, leading to heart failure. Suddenly, he was unable to continue working.

To survive, my mother relies on a small retail shop that provides just enough for our daily necessities. Desperate to keep us in school, my father took out loans, but his failing health made it impossible to keep up with the repayments, putting my university education at risk.

Experiencing my father's illness has only deepened my lifelong dream of becoming a medical professional and helping others facing severe health challenges.
