Persona's core capability — KYC, sanctions screening, accreditation status — is now portable across every chain via Chainlink's CCID. Critically: user data stays off-chain. Only the cryptographic proof moves on-chain. That is exactly the architecture the Treasury RFI described: token-layer identity that doesn't expose underlying personal data.
The Chainlink ACE (Automated Compliance Engine) checks investor credentials before allowing transactions. This is the compliance infrastructure for tokenized assets — the institutional layer that needs to exist before regulated financial products can move on-chain at scale.
The Ribbit connection: The Treasury RFI proposed Persona + Ribbit Capital as joint architects of this exact standard. Persona is now implementing it with Chainlink. Ribbit Capital's portfolio includes Coinbase (which co-governs x402 Foundation), Revolut, Lightspark, Crossmint, and Lighter — all of which are building on-chain financial infrastructure that would benefit from a portable, cross-chain KYC credential.
What this is not: This is human KYC — verifying that a wallet belongs to a real, compliant person. This is the same layer AG9 addresses. It is not agent KYA. It is the foundation that makes agent KYA meaningful — you can't have trusted autonomous agents operating in regulated finance without first knowing that the humans authorizing those agents are verified.
The honest framing: Persona is building the human identity layer. If TIBBIR addresses the agent identity layer on top of it, these are complementary infrastructure pieces — Persona establishes who the human is, TIBBIR's alleged architecture establishes whether the agent acting on their behalf can be trusted. That's the full stack from the Treasury RFI's vision
@jessepollak Would love to hear a weekly progress update about ribbita-by-virtuals:native , especially all the juicy hypothetically details that are under NDA
@fbb4official@drewtility You indirectly referring to $TIBBIR from Ribbit Capital?
Search for the @Altcoinist and it’s recent publication. Regarding Agentic AI and it’s verification layer. You’re welcome! 🫡
@DanzoDirect@elonmusk I've peeked at $ODAI's World-Memory-as-a-Service build with me—personal AI agents with custom World Models, governance, and full execution loops in under 5 minutes.
Next-level stuff. Elon’s gonna dig it hard. What's the latest drop? 🚀
