This young man was brought to me at the Masjid by some of my most trusted brothers here in Abeokuta. I had no idea why they were coming until they arrived. They deliberately withheld the details because they knew I would probably ask them not to trouble him by bringing him to me.
Meeting him and learning about his condition was heartbreaking. He is battling a life-threatening illness and urgently needs medical care. I sincerely wish I had the means to cover all his expenses, but I do not. The least I can do is share his story and appeal to the compassion of good people everywhere.
This appeal is not about religion. It is about humanity. Illness does not discriminate, and neither should kindness. Whether you are Muslim, Christian, a follower of a traditional faith, or of no faith at all, if you are in a position to help, please consider supporting this young man. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings him one step closer to the treatment he desperately needs.
If you would like to verify his situation before making a donation, the contact details are available on the flyer. You may also contact me directly, my DM is open.
Please share this appeal as widely as you can. Even if you are unable to donate, your share may reach someone who can. Together, we can give this young man a genuine second chance at life.
Thank you, and may God bless everyone who extends a helping hand.
Asalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh sir.
We humbly seek your prayers and support for our beloved brother, Samsideen Yeku, who has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition.
What began as persistent leg swelling led to specialist consultations and a series of investigations, including an echocardiogram, blood tests, and a CT-gated aortogram. The results revealed a life-threatening enlargement of his aorta and severe aortic valve disease. A team of cardiac surgeons has now recommended a Modified Bentall procedure, a major open-heart surgery, as the only definitive treatment.
The hospital has issued the treatment invoice, and we are appealing to everyone who is able to support this life-saving procedure. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
We kindly ask for your prayers and generosity. May Allah reward you abundantly and grant him complete healing. Ameen.

42 children from Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School, Askira Uba LGA, Borno State were abducted on May 15, 2026. The children include toddlers as young as 2 years old.
Today marks 67 days and our children are still being held in the forests. We have not heard anything about their whereabouts or condition.
We have waited, we have prayed, and we have reported. But up to today, we have not seen concrete action from the Borno State Government under Governor Babagana Zulum to secure their release and bring them home safely.
Our children are in the forest. They are scared, hungry, and in danger. Every day that passes puts their lives at more risk.
We are pleading:
1. Governor Zulum: Please act now. Deploy all necessary resources for the immediate rescue of the 42 Mussa children.
2. Security agencies: We need a coordinated rescue operation urgently.
3. The public and media: Help us amplify this. Do not let our children be forgotten.
We are parents, we are a community, and we are desperate. We cannot do this alone.
Please, help us call on the authorities to act before it is too late. Our children deserve to come home.
Thank you for standing with us.
Sincerely,ย ย
Concerned Parents and Community Members of Mussa, Borno State, Nigeria.

*AN APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SAVE THE LIFE OF AASIYAH QOMARDEEN*
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Friends, Well-wishers, Philanthropists, Corporate Organizations, and Charitable Foundations,
We humbly seek your support to help save the life of *Aasiyah Qomardeen*, the beloved daughter of *Sheikh Qomardeen Yunus*, who is battling *craniosynostosis, a rare congenital condition* in which the bones of the skull fuse too early, preventing normal brain and skull growth. Without urgent treatment, it can lead to increased pressure on the brain, breathing and vision problems, developmental delays, and other life-threatening complications.
Following extensive medical evaluations, specialists at Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore, India, have accepted Aasiyah's case and recommended urgent treatment by a multidisciplinary team. Her treatment includes comprehensive medical investigations, craniosynostosis corrective surgery, midface distraction surgery with an implant, reconstructive plastic surgery, and intensive post-operative care. She is expected to spend about three weeks in the hospital, followed by two to three months of recovery and follow-up care in India.
The total estimated hospital treatment cost is *USD 29,900* (approximately โฆ40,942,070). This estimate covers medical treatment only and excludes airfare, visa fees, accommodation outside the hospital, medications not included in the treatment package, local transportation, and any additional procedures that may become necessary after further evaluation.
The financial burden is far beyond what the family can bear alone. We therefore earnestly appeal to compassionate individuals, Islamic foundations, charitable organizations, corporate bodies, and everyone who believes in giving a child a chance to live to support Aasiyah's treatment.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings her one step closer to receiving the life-saving care she urgently needs. If you are unable to contribute financially, we kindly request your sincere prayers and ask that you share this appeal with others who may be willing to help.
