@brent_e_trader@TribeRuffner@TommyThornton Historically speaking, this is not a good thing. Rate cuts means underlying market weakness. 2001, 2009. Rate cuts were the beginning of the decline. Covid rate cuts were a life raft. We are in very different times.
@elonmusk I know many people that work for NYS. This is actually joked about all the time. State Workers barely do anything, have cake hours, insane time off and have a holiday for everything. Then leave with a pension.
@theficouple But that’s how the tax systems works… you carry over your loses. I’m sure your rentals don’t look all that great on paper for tax purposes either. Tesla has atleast paid an insane amount of payroll taxes into the system.
@RohannFraser@CuriousPejjy If you look at the history… these rates are normal. They’re not high. You could say he missed his chance at the abnormally low rates. He could be waiting 2 to 3 decades for a chance at those rates again.
