I reject the notion that there will be 3pm sunset

The earliest sunset would be at 4pm like it has been since the beginning of time. In the US, DST effectively simulates living at the far Western edge of whatever time zone you are in. In the worst case scenario of living in extreme NE Maine, sundown would be about 4pm.

The vast majority of the country wouldn't see anything like that.

In Montana or Maine, it still wouldn't be "dark" until nearly 6pm because that's how sunset goes up there.

@MattWalshBlog I have been critical of Mr. Walsh, but blackpilling is certainly not one of his faults.

I can't recall a problem he had pointed out for which he did not suggest a hopeful and common-sense solution.
