This may be a controversial take, (and remember this is just my opinion) but I feel that whenever any incarnation of Thomas uses the trope “the smaller engines are little kids and the big engines are adults!”, It totally wrecks the dynamic that made Thomas work

Drew's *Unofficial* Thomas The Tank Engine Page was created in early 1997 by the father of a child named Drew. The site was reformatted in May 1998 and in 1999 the name of a second child, Jamie, was added.

The site was actively updated until 2005, and went offline around 2014.
