We continued this year’s focus on’ inclusive oracy classrooms’ this afternoon with a fantastic workshop on oracy and EAL. An inspiring and empowering session to round off the term for our hub.
Year 4 and 5 have been doing fantastic work with great outcomes around performance in poetry this week. We are really proud of how engaged our pupils have been and how they have developed their presentational oracy.

This year we’re working in teams to ‘turn great talk into great learning’ in a range of subjects including maths, science, art and history!
Earlier this year we commissioned a series of exploratory papers on issues related to oracy education.
