@WriteInSatan @RjeyTech Devices get released with known issues all the time, honestly I'll at least give Apple credit that juggling all of the balls necessary to release a VR headset that is wearable for long stretches of time is hard. The whole game is comfort vs weight etc. Not easy to nail.

There are companies now exploiting these good-faith decisions to a degree that wasn't anticipated when these licenses were originally created. Open source needs to adjust to the times and fight this, your "letter of the law" argument falls apart fast.

@mthe6thman @henningsanden The higher ups don't care about faithfulness to a property, they care about what will sell. In reality, the level of preparation you seem to expect doesn't exist. These asks and changes to designs come down from on high at random intervals, all the time, in very chaotic ways.

@JamesRLandrum @henningsanden You do realize that VFX artists are decades past "tutorials"? Video tutorials are a modern spin on education that are far from complete or comprehensive. These artists are people that just hearing their stories for 5 minutes would give you more knowledge than 100 tutorials.
