The #airportfire is still burning in Orange County and Riverside County, now covering more than 22,376 acres with no containment and has moved towards Lake Elsinore. Evacuation orders and warnings remain active.

The #airportfire in Trabuco Canyon has grown to about 1,900 acres, prompting evacuation warnings and orders. An animal shelter is set up at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, for those affected. For more information, residents can call the Public Information Hotline at [phone].

Firefighters are battling a 250-acre vegetation fire near Trabuco Creek Road, led by @OCFireAuthority with support from Orange Battalion 1 and Engine 307. There is currently no threat to Orange, but authorities are closely monitoring the situation.

2/2 Approximately 80 firefighters responded. Assistance was provided by @AnaheimFire and @OCFA_PIO. @CityOfOrangePD provided traffic control. @TheRedCross is providing assistance to approx 16-20 displaced individuals. Investigation is ongoing.

Update: 1/2 Incident was upgraded to a 4th alarm. Firefighting operations are now complete, overhaul is in progress. Four firefighters sustained minor injuries and were transported as precaution. Two civilians were treated and released on scene.

We have received several calls from residents in the east end of Orange and Anaheim Hills regarding smoke. There is currently a vegetation fire #DuncanFire near Lytle Creek Sierra/I-15 in Fontana. @SBCOUNTYFIRE is the lead agency. No current threat or fire in the City of Orange

Orange City Fire responded to a call of smoke showing from a two-story office building at 6:04 pm this evening at 200 E. Katella Ave. @AnaheimFire, Orange County Fire Authority, and the @FullertonFire provided firefighting assistance. @CityOfOrangePD provided traffic control.
