California is not an overwhelmingly progressive state, it’s a radically centrist state without significant political space on the right or left of that magical, real estate funded, center.
@TrackOilPACs CA Dems love Chevron money. What they won’t tell you is that they can refuse campaign contributions (as long as they are not independent expenditures).
no progress in #California for four years.
no #CalCare
no wealth tax
more oil drilling
no consequences for #ICE
we don’t deserve change at this point. CONGRATS bought-cerra.
@electionsjoe With the president we get to choose between 99% Hitler or 99.99999% Hitler, at least in California it’s more like 86% Hitler vs 86.999999% Hitler

The beauty of California is that whether you vote for the Democrat or the Republican for governor in 2026, both candidates plan to kill rail projects and build no housing.
@SenatorLuma Working as a canvasser has done the most the radicalize me against democracy. I can’t tell you how many people openly admit to voter fraud like “my wife fills out my ballot”, or “our dad fills out all our ballots” (in a house of 4+ voters.
@SenatorLuma I’ve worked as a canvasser in California. I would say the majority of people I would speak to would ask “is your candidate a Democrat”, then when I would say yes, they would agree to vote for them. They just vote for whoever the Dem they have heard of is.
it’s so hard to love california when the state stubbornly refuses to change off our downhill path. greatest state in the union and we’re coasting straight into a hole. becerra has no vision or values, but he held a lot of positions, so that makes him fit to be governor?
