Her name is Luana Zaratti, an Italian bus ticket inspector.

She was 26 when, during one of her shifts, she asked an illegal Egyptian immigrant for his ticket.

He had none. His answer was a violent headbutt straight to her face, so hard it shattered her nasal septum and caused severe head trauma.

Luana collapsed to the ground, blood pouring from her nose.

That single blow destroyed her life.
It left her with permanent brain damage and lifelong disability.

Years bedridden, almost vegetative.
But her willpower pulled her back to a shadow of the life she once had.

The attacker was sentenced to just 14 months in prison, but he never served a single day. He disappeared.

Luana, declared unfit to work, now survives on less than €1,000 a month.

Today I received an apology from Devon & Cornwall Police for the delay in investigating my complaint.

In February 2025, two police officers attended my home following a false allegation of harassment made against me. Since then, I have repeatedly requested that the police provide the evidence relied upon by the complainant when making such a serious allegation. Harassment is a criminal offence and allegations of this nature should be supported by clear evidence.

What is particularly concerning is that, while action was taken in response to an unsubstantiated allegation against me, multiple reports of online harassment that I had made — supported by evidence and involving several individuals — were not dealt with appropriately.

The police have now acknowledged that there are vulnerability concerns in my case and have confirmed that a dedicated team has been put in place to investigate my complaint. I welcome this development and hope the investigation will now provide the transparency, accountability, and answers that have been lacking for far too long.

Apple already said yes earlier this year. 35 million people woke up one day and had to prove they were adults to use a phone they already paid for.

Here's every time a government built one of these systems and what actually happened:

2001 — PATRIOT Act. passed 6 weeks after 9/11. 3 days after it was introduced it was law. sold as: we need to spy on terrorists. what it actually was: a wish list of surveillance powers the FBI had been asking for for years and Congress had already said no to. multiple times.

2005 — the Bush administration was caught running a secret program wiretapping american citizens with no warrant. no judge. no oversight. the "terrorism only" promise lasted exactly 4 years.

2013 — Snowden. the NSA was secretly collecting the phone records of every single american. not suspects. not terrorists. every person who made a phone call. the law said "collect data related to terrorism." they decided that meant everyone.

2015 — same law, Section 215, used to collect financial records, internet browsing history, and location data on ordinary americans. still called a terrorism tool.

2021 — the entire surveillance infrastructure built after 9/11 was used to monitor Black Lives Matter protesters. domestic activists. people marching in the street. not terrorists.

2026 — "Protect the children."

All they need a software update.

It has happened this way every single time.

they name it after the thing nobody wants to defend.

then they point it at everything else.

This is the victim in Belfast. He's originally from Scotland & moved to the area recently, confirmed by a resident. He is said to be a vulnerable adult who wouldn't hurt a fly.

The Sudanese attacker had moved in around four days ago and lived with another Sudanese migrant.

Exactly the same rhetoric we heard after Henry Nowak.Infact,the same rhetoric we hear after every horrific attack.
"Don't let the right wing divide us".
"The right wing are hijacking this tragedy".
"It's the right wing that is causing all this".
Well,bollocks to that.
You have used that excuse to silence people for decades now
And it just doesn't wash.
Being appalled by what was seen on both of the recent videos and wanting to protest about it does not make people "Right Wing".
I am not part of any group,party or organisation.And I will be out protesting tonight.
