McConnell’s heel turn on election security is worse than spite. It’s about money and power.

Trump blew up the system, and especially the foreign policy, that allowed McConnell and his idiot staffers and all their lobbyist friends to get rich. They have to get rid of Trump, and MAGA, because Trump and MAGA are a fatal threat to their grift.

That’s why McConnell apparatchiks Mike Fraggoso and David Popp and the know-nothing Ruthless podcast children are running the op (and ghost-writing the op-eds and talking points ) against using the talking filibuster to break the Dems and pass the SAVE Act.

McConnell and his cabal need Republicans to get destroyed in November. Why? Because that way Democrats can use the next two years to run their hoax and impeachment operations against Trump AND Vance. The hope is this will damage Vance enough to lose the presidential election in 2028.

At that point, McConnell Inc. will roam the countryside looking for MAGA survivors to bayonet, claiming that MAGA must be destroyed so the Old Guard—McConnell Inc.—can take back control of the GOP and rededicate it to existing entirely to enrich McConnell Inc. and all their warmongering military-industrial complex friends.

They have to kill the SAVE Act to secure 2026 GOP defeat, which they hope will lead to Vance losing in 2028, giving them an opportunity to exterminate MAGA and retake control of the GOP.
