Interesting...CONgress didnt want to raise student protest in Parliament only the Ayodhya temple issue. Other dynasts had to persuade.. then they agreed.
Clearly dynasty sees CJP as a threat more! Cos dimwit's courtiers are trying to position him as hero of Genz!
We have concerns both as Indians and as Hindus.
These are not in conflict - provided we know what we want.
IMHO, we are looking at the beginning of end of Modi era. May God give him long life and continued success but it's foolish to think he's forever.
We are lucky if he stays in power thru 2034.
We need Plan B.
What should our ( as in ordinary Indians esp Hindus) focus be?
If Modi / BJP fail to develop next rung, and thus far they have, we must. We can't ride forever on him.
How?
Our objective must move beyond individuals or even party to ideological and national.
What do I mean?
Our core interests must be a leadership that's
- not viscerally dripping with anti Hindu hate.
- need not be hawk but not dhimmi
- not see Islamists in BD, Pakistan, Rohingyas as vote banks to be imported in unlimited numbers to defeat the power of our voice & perpetuate their loot
- Can even be non believer or Christian like Vijay.
- not corrupt
- meritocratic, technocrat not pseudo science fraud
- not a Maoist in disguise with fringe left thinking
- modern, articulate even if not from elite education bg
- free market, liberal, reformist
- anti communist
- controlled by what's good for India. Not what gets Soros $
Obviously dimwit Rahul Gandhi checks none of these boxes.
If a leader ticks most of these boxes, we must invest in them. Elect them. Support them. Help them grow into bigger profiles.. Dont matter if they're not in BJP.
Then we can deserve progress. If, like Pidi, we seek manna from orifices of one dynasty, or some magician, we are doomed.
IMHO @narendramodi ji @AmitShah ji can consider allowing a bunch of the protestors (provided genuine students, not Stalinist frauds) visit the Parliament, talk to MPs and perhaps give evidence in a sub-committee meeting like in US.
They can also articulate IDEAS for reform - not just do tamasha and anarchy.

Right now, dynastic looters are joining the CJP mob, getting free ride.
But there is a risk for them and they KNOW it.
If they sing too big a chorus, CJP can gain traction which can come almost entirely at their expense. Hardcore Modi voters wont be bothered.
There is SUBSTANTIAL chunk of voters that don't like Modi but hate the corrupt, fascist dynasties even more. Esp GenZ that know a 60 year old entitled janeudhari clown Prince pretending to be their saviour.
They know their pathetic track record and their bankruptcy of ideas.
They are hungry and thirsty for realistic alternatives. Kejri was a fake. A Hercules that came to clean the stables but flooded it with more waste.
I suspect dynasts will sing along for a while but get their media coolies and academia bootlickers leased from the left to also hedge bets and try to run down CJP.
We can see that happening already. A section of the 10JP servant quarters in media will be asked to sing another tune.
While they enjoy schadenfreude fr BJPs troubles and maybe supply hoodlums to create anarchy and hope to return to looting in the chaos.
@abhijeet_dipke must watch out for them. If not he will end up like another Kejri. Used and thrown. Reject them with contempt, even if they are not the primary targets now.
The founder of Kimi Ai (Zhang) that is taking world by storm (after Deepseek which is also trying to leapfrog) studied in US. CMU.
He didn't join Gaza protest. He didn't cry tukde tukde. He didn't say "Afzal tere qatil zinda hain, ham sharminda hain"
He didn't try to destroy his country, doom it to rule of dynastic dacoits and Stalinist mass murderers.
He went back to China and started a company. In fact, he did it even while a student in US!
Yes lots of Indians are doing that too, hats off to them! Many are doing that in US itself. That is also great.
But we need to recognise the weeds in the field too. Even Pakistan did that. Try being a liberal commie there. That is why they were ahead of India until 2014.
I am distilling the posts of various experts and observers that know a lot better. Obviously all of us read what we like to read. So there could be bias. On the contrary I have been in tech for decades and have good measure of gadget fancy & skepticism.
In the field of #AI:
- Kimi, Qwen and other Chinese open source AI is practically level with top grade US ones.
- They are a lot cheaper - both in terms of capital they used up, and to run.
- But they DON'T hv enough GPU (sanctions) to serve the world (maybe not even themselves). Capacity is a constraint. How long? Who knows
- Western cloud server co's can download and run it on their own servers and offer it to others, perhaps far cheaper.
- But inference (providing models that do stuff having been trained already) is not cheap also. Hardware, land, electricity, water - everything is in short supply.
- Trump admin is rumoured to be considering a ban on them (in US ofc)
- The two BIG ones Anthropic and OpenAI not to speak of others like Oracle that bet billions and the investors that backed them may be staring at abyss. Their trillion $ valuations may go bust.
@c_aashish@SkyrootA@PawanKChandana@ShivAroor What I like is both healthy respect and good understanding of why space x succeeded. 20+ year history, huge capital, mature talent pool in an advanced country that already had pvt cos in space.
Neither over awed nor dismissive. Exact place to be in!
Brilliant.
Very good summary.
At this point, to surrender to anarchist left & Stalinist thugs will only embolden them to scale up anarchy.
Modi must reach out directly to youth, students and their families assure update them of steps being taken to improve their lives, create jobs, clean up system etc.
They'll listen.
These well paid anarchist professional andolanjeevis and parachuted NRI won't.
@ShekharGupta These leftist "journalists" support practically any crime provided they're on the right side of the gun.
Guess comes from having heroes like Stalin, Mao, Polpot and Kim.
I'm entitled to my views.
People who work for society are different from so called social activists.
So many good Samaritans, without any political affiliation, are working to improve our society.
Social activists often create more trouble for society than they solve. For many of them, protesting has become a profession, and they are readily available to join any protest.
Students, parents, and the public should continuously apply pressure through the media and social media. Peaceful public protests are absolutely fine.
However, allowing professional protesters to hijack the cause and create anarchy is absolutely wrong.
Question to programming experts!
A lot of programming conventions (organising code, re-usability, documentation, comments etc) were basically designed for humans, not machines, correct? After all someone may have to read the code after a few years and maintain! Just as tasty food is for us, when it gets to stomach, it is all mulch.
Same goes for languages. Rust evolved since c code is "dangerous" - not because the language is faulty, just that it makes it easy to write dangerous code. But we have AI fixing 15 year old bugs with no effort. GO evolved to make it easy for folks to program. And so on..
With #AI doing most of the work, if not all, including maintenance, what is the point of all this?! Why not a single monster of a file 20,000 lines long? Or why not write everything in assembly or c?! I am exaggerating ofc but you see the point?
