@bode_maxwell @nwoko_greg62705 Soldiers (NCOs) refused to take order from him . Gowon , who he sent to Dodan Barracks to talk to the coupists , returned as the new supreme commander . I can only blame Ogundipe for not resigning his commission , when things went haywire

@nwoko_greg62705 Ogundipe did what any reasonable solider in his position would have done ; walk away . He had no loyal troops to take on the coupists . Gowon , who initially was on his side , betrayed him and took side with Muritala and co.
