Consequential choices involving our country are being made by government officials who are plotting a highly lucrative career at the same private firms that benefit most from their time in government.

Ulta Beauty has joined the list of private companies using Flock cameras in their parking lots and sending image and video data of their customers directly to local law enforcement and to Flock's cloud servers.

Word got out about Ulta Beauty's use of Flock cameras after an activist group, Ultra Violet, started a petition demanding that Ulta Beauty take these cameras down.

A CPSC commissioner told Bloomberg products that can’t be made safe can be banned after one study claimed 13% of childhood asthma came from stove emissions.

The White House immediately denied any plan once people noticed, House Republicans required Congress to approve any ban first, states passed “right to cook” laws, and a federal court then killed Berkeley’s gas hookup ban as preempted by federal energy law.
