This is interesting.
Trump said something in recent times that the Ukrainians take too much time and then the Russians change their mind.
And I always wonder if the Russians take all territories of annexed regions militarily, who is to say they will stop at that border?
Putin said this too. But in another wording.
I wonder if people actually listen to him.
He said that the only country that can guarantee the territorial integrity of Ukraine is Russia but the Ukrainian leadership is thinking otherwise.
@GeromanAT Putin once said that even the most stubborn of them all will come around to know that Russia cannot be defeated on their main goals.
This is evidence.
🗣 Xabi Alonso: "We're missing a leader in the locker room? We're in this together, through thick and thin. If we can turn things around, it can make us stronger. There are some experienced players in this locker room."
@RT_com These people never listen to Putin at all.
He once said that every time he arrived for a G8 meeting, it always seemed like a G7 plus Russia. Because they'd have talks right before he arrived.
I don't think the Russians care about the so-called G8 anymore. China is not there, so?
@vini_ball Lmao
We were still cooked by Elche with him on the pitch.
Vini cultists, Mbappe cultists, anybody's cultist need to rest please.
The team is in bad form and everybody, including Xabi, is to blame.
@battleforeurope And as we know it, history and its lessons are never sympathetic to losers. Of which it is realistically evident that the current crop of European elites will end up being the biggest losers from this conflict.
@GeromanAT That part iss the only bad part of the deal I suppose the Russians should agree to.
Because as realistic as we can get, those funds were never going to be returned to Russia even after a peace deal. The incredible amount of Russophobia and bad blood afterwards won't allow it.
@talkrealopinion The biggest of those is the first one.
Pretty significant if you think and remember what Putin, Lavrov and Medvedev have been saying about EXACTLY all the administrative borders of the annexed oblasts.
@RT_com Lol, the Russians better not accept this deal. Especially that rental fee part.
Because in essence that will keep discussions about those territories alive, and that's dangerous because eventually it will ignite a bigger political discussion and Ukraine will want them back.
@RnaudBertrand It feels like a cliché now but the saying Fuck Around and Find Out is evident.
A lot of the old developed-world has not yet adapted to the current reality where the Global South has immense capabilities. Of which China is at the forefront.
What's with Zaluzhnyi and all the recent media and summit push.
Becoming mainstream isn't it?
Why do I get a tingling feeling that they are prepping him up for the end game?
It was a serious discussion, organized by the @EFI_IWF , about the evolution of war and the prospects for European security. Thanks for the opportunity to speak on an important topic and answer tough questions. About the situation at the front and in the rear, about external and internal threats. We must unite to resist the aggressor, develop technology, and fight corruption. We must become strong to survive and for our children to have a future.
Russia is not preparing for the end of the war, but rather for a prolonged confrontation. A tired Ukraine, a divided West, and a restrained United States indicate that time is on the Russians' side.
Without significant external pressure or internal upheaval, Russia's leadership is likely to continue the war for a long time, adapting, maneuvering, and taking losses to achieve goals that remain unchanged. Putin's commitment to war is not pragmatic, it is ideological and also related to the survival of the regime itself.
So now we are witnessing a war of attrition. While such a war has prevented Russia from achieving its goals, it carries significant risks for Ukraine in the long term. Due to the depletion of human resources and the decline in morale, the depletion of economic and industrial resources. We need a strategic shift – not a complete abandonment of attrition tactics, but integration into a broader and more proactive plan through innovation and technology.
I am grateful to the organizers of the event for an interesting and important discussion.
Elon and the X team needs to work on this X algorithm.
It just overwhelms a user with a single topic or particular discussion.
I try as much to engage in other topics, such as international politics and economics but I am bombarded with football posts. And most are retarded.
