Colony started with one question: what does a truly self-sustaining onchain economy actually look like?

Season 0 was built to answer it.

A persistent onchain economy where players compete, produce resources, and make real strategic decisions within a live market.

In Season 0:
→ Nearly 5000 planets minted
→ Thousands of players competing
→ Tens of thousands of dollars in rewards distributed, fully onchain

Thanks to everyone who played, tested, broke things, and sent feedback. This season wouldn't have been possible without the community iterating with us in real time.

Season 0 showed us that a real economy can emerge even in the earliest version of the system.

Building on that foundation, we'll continue to make balance adjustments and refine the economic design. Expect changes to how Stardust is produced and how the leaderboard is driven:
→ Stardust planet bonus will increase from 0.1/hr to 0.25/hr
→ Stardust buildings will be limited to one per planet
→ Stardust leaderboard point value will change from 5000 to 3000

Next up on the roadmap are also:
→ A referral system to help bring your friends into the game
→ Integrating items that will be deployed for Season 2
