Had to cancel a 2 -night reservation due to an emergency surgery with a proof from the doctor. Called them at least 10 times in the last 1 month- no resolution yet!

@makemytripcare @AmericanAir : I did contact American airlines customer service and I was told that it is all up to the travel agent company, i.e. @makemytrip
So, one of them must be lying.

@goibibo @goibibo : Also, I checked with the airlines. Since it was during Covid time, there were no penalties.....it should just be the fare difference. And you guys are making it so hard to find a flight option with reasonable fare difference. If that's the case, just refund me my money

@goibibo @goibibo : I still haven't heard anything. how long does it take for your customer service team to review one booking ? Or are you waiting for flight prices to climb so that you can justify the insane fare difference you are asking ?

@goibibo Sure I can wait. Another point: If Goibibo can't give me any reasonable options for flights, then why not just refund my money ?
Goibibo already got their money back from United Airlines, and want to just keep it all to themselves by deterring me from rebooking. Is it fair ?

@siddvky What is the purpose of your customer service @makemytrip : making it as hard as possible for your customers ? @siddvky just explained above that these flight tickets were for his parents who were gonna visit their son in Boston. Now that son no longer lives in Boston.
