South Korea seem to have flattened the curve as a result of mask wearing, current count=10,062. Hong Kong=846. Taiwan issued 1 mask per citizen p/w. Ratio wise, common denominator in lower Covid19 rates- Asia vs Europe is MASKS. We need adequate PPE for our frontline at least.

During 'Spanish' Flu my own family on both sides wiped out, only three survived on my fathers side, my mom was orphaned at 10. Then everyone wore masks, virus simply stopped dead in its tracks. In USA the slogan was 'Wear a mask or go to jail'. Thats how vital masks are. @HSELive

I just learned one of my friends Grandads was diagnosed #COVIDー19 positive on Friday afternoon in Beaumont hospital

He died yesterday, within 24 hours

He tested negative on Monday. But caught it while in hospital over the course of this week

Good news: HSE has notified pharmacists that they can issue repeat prescriptions for medical card patients. The pharmacist is asked to retain the last medical card script & use it for the next few months. Once the script is legally valid (that it’s dated within last 6 months).

@CovidIreland Saw the same in the city centre today. For reasons like this I wonder if it would be beneficial if HSE released advisory on children in public spaces and mixing w/ a multitude of different children etc. Chinese full lockdown aided slowdown of spread from 1 family to another.
