@michellecorry @niamh_dr That’s been discussed for a long time (at least my 18 years as a coeliac) but AFAIA there hasn’t been an definitive link proven. Deficiencies of good bacteria in the gut (which coeliacs often lack) are being studied as a possible link I believe.

@orlamcdermott @niamh_dr Italy is definitely the best place I’ve ever been as a coeliac. In the tiniest villages with two pizzerias, one will cater for coeliacs. I’m spoiled in Sardina and get fresh bread and pastries delivered every week from Free Gustoso like these fatti fritti for carnivale 😋😋
