Aaron Rodger’s said…
“The best teams are player-led teams.”
But he went further.
It begins with ownership.
Ownership of your preparation.
Ownership of your performance.
Ownership of the standard.
Want a player-led team?
Teach players to own it. 🏆
“I don’t believe you practice poorly and then just play great on game day. I don’t believe that happens and it won’t happen over the course of time,” Lane Kiffin
You can’t prepare below the standard and expect to perform above it.

When asked what characteristic ALL ELITE ATHLETES SHARE, Kobe said ‘storytelling’.
“Tell yourself, don’t listen to yourself.”
World class athletes geniunely believe they have an alter ego when they need to go to another level. This is called the ‘Batman Effect’.
One of the many reasons that the 1% are virtually unrelatable to most.
In light of the AD return, here is the application of this. 👇🏼
“Courage is not knowing where the finish line is and going as hard as you can.” - Bill Self
Success belongs to the ones willing to suffer for a result they may never be promised.
No promises. No certainty. Just training, belief, and the courage to keep showing up.
Kevin Durant gives advice to AJ Dybantsa and other young hoopers:
“Hoop as much as possible. Play 5 on 5. Against live bodies. That’s more beneficial than working out by yourself all the time. My first few years I might’ve worked out at 10:00 am, but then I’m playing pickup all around the city. Outdoors, I’m playing 4-5 games of pickup just working on my instincts the whole day. 4 times a week. From like 19 years old until I’m 24. I look back and that was just way more beneficial than just getting in the gym working out by myself”

@M_Vernon Would the vibes be different if the game was closer? You could clearly tell DP wasn’t the same player after his bucket before the 16:00 mark 2H... came back in but you could tell he looked different again… is this really going to happen all season
TD passes against 11+ win teams in 2025
1. Matthew Stafford - 20 (most in NFL history)
2. Baker Mayfield - 13
51 players with at least 1
52+ with 0. Maye is in this group. (Not a knock on him just context of competition)
