This is misleading.
Palm oil and groundnut oil are calorie-dense, but that doesn’t make them inherently fattening or something you need to eliminate for fat loss. Fat loss comes from a sustained energy deficit.
And dietary fats have actual functions: they provide essential fatty acids, help with absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E & K), support cell membranes and hormone production, and make meals more satisfying.
Groundnut oil is also predominantly unsaturated fat, while red palm oil contains carotenoids and vitamin E compounds.
The issue is excessive intake, not the existence of palm oil or groundnut oil in your kitchen.
Be careful‼️‼️
Dietary Fats also help protect your brain cell membranes. It’s no wonder people who are telling you cut out fat will argue with nutrition professionals when they call them out on their BS.
People who cannot differentiate between taking something in excess and cutting it off entirely.
@ngee_danielle Fat is not only the cause of weight gain, other factors are there. One may cut off fat(which is not ideal) and still gain weight. By the way fat is inportant for absorption of fat soluble vitamins, their deficiencies cause other health issues.
This is so false !
The issue has never been oils but now much of it we use in African cuisine. Please stop spreading misinformation!
You can use oils without having to fry everything because I see you mentioned than under this tweet.
@RegularGuy800@GirlTucci@TheCakeChancery 1. Yes. Braiding gel is lighter than edge control
2. Yes it can but the lines won’t be defined compared to when gel is used
3. If you don’t want the braiding gel you can just make the normal braids it don’t expect those lines in between
@TheCakeChancery If you compare normal braids and stitch braids, you’ll see the difference.
Stitch braids have defined lines inbetween, normal braids doesn’t
Stitch braid uses less attachment which reduces tension, normal braid uses more attachment with can increase tension on the hair scalp
