Been living in Metro Adelaide, around 12KM to the centre of the CBD and as much as I've enjoyed living here, the worst part has always been the internet, which has either been dialup or unbelievable slow and essentially makes remote work impossible.

For whatever reason, we've only been able to get ADSL1 even in 2023, and under NBN we are only eligible for GEO Satellite service (High latency and used to have very low data caps). The joke is that half the street we live on has FTTN with potentially a FTTH upgrade in the works
